
About Jennifer Alvich MA, BCBA, LBA.
Jennifer Alvich is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Ms. Alvich received her Masters in Developmental Psychology from the University of Chicago and trained for her BCBA at Saint Joseph’s University. She is a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the State of New York.
Ms. Alvich began her career in the classroom as a Social Studies teacher and taught in the inclusion setting. It was in that setting she became dedicated to working with children to help them find what makes them successful both in school and out. In addition to providing direct ABA services, Ms. Alvich provides parent training, school consulting, and oversight of home programming. As a district behaviorist, Ms. Alvich supports school staff to use ABA technology and evidence-based practices to improve the skills and reduce the interfering behavior of students with a wide variety of developmental disabilities and emotional and behavioral challenges.
Ms. Alvich currently works directly with families, providing consultation, assessment, parent coaching, and school staff training. She is fortunate to work with children with a wide variety of differences and challenges, including ASD, Anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. Her services include training in executive functioning, social skills, anger management, and coping skills. She is proud to integrate Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) into her behavior analytic work
